Preparing for LASIK Eye Surgery
LASIK Eye Surgery and other vision correction surgeries have been a frightening prospect for many people since LASIK first became popular. While cataract surgery was often deemed necessary, more advanced eye surgeries are often considered elective and therefore might have a higher level of anxiety caused for patients. Dr. JoAnn Dahlkoetter has produced a new program that prepares patients for eye surgery, including LASIK, and walks them through each step of the treatment.

This exciting new program will allow our patients to be relaxed and well-prepared so that they can receive the best possible results from their LASIK eye treatment. Dr. JoAnn Dahlkoetter had eye surgery herself in 2005 and has enjoyed great vision. Part of her eye surgery helped her to develop her own methods for preparation. Now she is seeing well and would like to share the secrets of her successful treatment with others.
Dr. JoAnn Dahlkoetter is a Stanford University Medical Center trained clinical psychologist. Her methods for helping patients prepare for LASIK surgery can benefit people from all areas of the San Francisco Bay Area. We are excited to be the first LASIK Center to offer this new method to patients.
